A Prayer During Transition

I was doing my guided prayer time this morning and the challenge was simple:

“What do you need to trust God with today?”

As I started talking to God, I realized why are we always taught to pursue the opportunity?

Why don’t we ever talk about the opportunity pursuing us?

We are the talent.

We are the value.

Businesses don’t run without people even with AI.

So, today’s prayer is for all of us in transition.

Not striving.

Not chasing.

Just aligning.

I’m praying that instead of us pursuing opportunities, the right opportunities begin to pursue us. And I’m not saying don’t do your part. I’m saying don’t strive for what God has already aligned. Prepare, stay ready, but don’t chase.

I’m praying that the right doors open.

That the right people find us.

That God orders our steps so clearly we can’t miss it.

And when the pursuit shows up, we’ll meet it in the middle with peace, with wisdom, and with faith.

And trusting that whatever is God’s will for us will pursue us, find us, and meet us in the middle.
