When You're Tired of It All, There's Still One Place to Go

I found this prayer in the YouVersion app this morning, March 23rd, and I could not keep it to myself.

"God, I truly want your presence to overwhelm me right now. I feel tired and worn out by the news, personal challenges, and everything happening in this world. I release my problems to you and embrace your peace. Fill my thirsty soul, and satisfy me like only you can. In Jesus name, amen."

Amen indeed.

I want to be honest with you. I think so many of us feel this way right now. Tired. Worn out by the news. Overwhelmed by personal challenges and the chaos of the world.

And I can tell you from experience, not from a quote, not from a sermon, but from my actual life: the only true peace I have ever found is God. His presence. Not a workaround. Not a distraction. Not staying busy. Him.

If you are feeling it today, this prayer is for you too. Pray it. Mean it. He hears you.
